I'm a web developer and music technician at a specialist performing arts secondary school teaching programming (HTML, CSS, Javascript) from beginner to intermediate.

Nye has excellent and well-rounded subject knowledge that covers the full spectrum of music, from theory and performance to composition and recording.
He is passionate, knowledgeable and has a natural ability to pass on what he has learned. He does this clearly and concisely matching different learning methods to suit the learners’ needs.
Nye has helped at the Corsham school by writing tasks for sixth form classes focusing on the physics of sound and the mixing process. In this he showed an ability to break down complicated topics, building them up from first principles. This was done in creative, practical and memorable ways demonstrating a clear understanding of the techniques of music composition and technology to a professional standard.

I have known Nye James in a professional capacity for the past year, during which I have worked with him on both original and cover music, live performances and he also produced my second EP, which he achieved to an excellent standard.

During this time, Nye has demonstrated not only his exceptional musical talent, but also his ability to adapt to different styles of music and roles within the industry, including Accompanist, Producer and Songwriter. Nye has proved himself to be consistently hard-working and reliable throughout.
