About Becca
I am a performance maker, writer, director, actor, and musician with a wealth of knowledge in both classic and contemporary texts, and a sound ability to critically/dramaturgically assess and analyze text. I have taught students from the age of four to sixteen years old, but would be willing and able to teach older students. I love building a fun and engaging rapport with students, and I deeply value a collaborative effort when approaching teaching (discussion with parents and students to check-in and develop lesson plans). I love to laugh, I love reading, I love playing piano, and I love playing netball, and I love listening to music!

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs after having a discussion of what they aim to get out of sessions with me. I hope for students to develop critical-thinking skills that allow them to feel empowered to take charge in their academic/creative journeys. Rather than being reliant on me, I aim to establish a strong foundational skill level in students that they can implement themselves. I have experience delivering lectures, interactive activities, and game-based learning. I also have experience with neurodivergent students (ADHD and ASD) and am willing to adapt lessons based on their boundaries and special interests.
