About Raj
As a volleyball coach...
Short & Punchy Version:
“I’m the kinda coach who turns ‘I can’t’ into ‘Watch me.’ I break down skills so they stick, build confidence so they shine, and make practice feel like play — because passion + patience = progress.”
“I focus on fundamentals first — passing, setting, footwork — then layer strategy and teamwork. Every player gets personalized attention. Safety, fun, and growth are non-negotiable."
“I don’t yell. I guide. I’ll show you how to read the game, stay calm under pressure, and turn mistakes into lessons. You’ll learn to trust your body, your team, and yourself.”
“Volleyball isn’t just a sport — it’s discipline, rhythm, and heart. I help you find yours.”

About the lesson

All languages in which the lesson is available :
English
Passing = Foundation
Forearms flat, thumbs together, knees bent. “Platform” not “hands” — control comes from arms + core.
Set Like a Chess Player
Think 2 steps ahead: Where’s the hitter? Where’s the block? Set high & outside for power, quick & tight for middle. Hit With Angle + Timing
Approach 3 steps → jump off two feet → swing like a whip. Aim for gaps, not blockers.
Defense = Anticipation
Read the setter’s eyes. Dig low, stay balanced. “Rolls > dives” early — save energy. “Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.”
