About Joann
Hi! Do you want to learn how to sing or improve your singing skills? If yes, you're in the right spot! My engaging lessons will help you improve vocally.
My name is Joann, a vocalist and a music enthusiast. I am a jazz voice major in college. My background is in gospel and rnb. I sing in multiple choirs, I've sung at many events (in group and solo). I have a great passion for music and would like to share it with others. I've performed a considerable amount of times and am still active when it comes to vocal performance. I am a believe that everyone should take a shot at music at least once because it is such a deep form of art.

Every lesson starts with a short vocal warmup, then we talk about performance. The student will pick a song they'd like to work on/learn how to sing and we'll work from there. At the end of each lesson we will recapitulate everything spoken about and the student will receive feedback on their progress. I'll be offering my tutoring services online (via zoom meetings) in English or French. My lessons are targeted towards youth. I will be teaching things such as: -Introduction to singing -Vocal development (pitch, accuracy, style...) -Introduction to choir and singing in different voices/parts -Performance training for youth -Music Theory for vocalists -Talent show preparation -And much more!
