About Jee
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 17 years of experience teaching High School, College, and adult students. Throughout my career, I have taught 150-200 students, helping them develop technical skills, confidence, and a deep appreciation for music. My teaching philosophy centres on patience, encouragement, and creating an inspiring learning environment where students can explore their musical abilities.
One of the most memorable milestones in my journey was helping a shy student, who had never performed before, deliver a beautiful piece at their first recital. The joy and pride on their face were unforgettable and reinforced my passion for teaching. I focus on personalised lessons that balance technical mastery, musical expression, and creativity.
By fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere, I encourage students to take risks, embrace challenges, and enjoy every step of their musical journey. My mission is to nurture not just skilled flutists, but confident, expressive, and passionate individuals who carry the love of music with them for life.

I teach flute with a practical, interactive, and student-centred approach. By using real-life examples and case studies, I make musical concepts easy to understand and apply. I also focus on motivation, inspiring students to practise regularly, stay confident, and enjoy their learning process.
Problem-solving is a key part of my methodology. I guide students in overcoming challenges in technique, rhythm, and musical expression, helping them develop independence. Integrity is important in every lesson, emphasising discipline, honesty, and respect. My lessons are flexible, tailored to each student’s abilities, pace, and goals.
Besides flute, I provide guidance in music theory and fundamentals, helping students build a strong foundation. My teaching aims to make every lesson effective, enjoyable, and personalised, fostering creativity, confidence, and skill.
