About Iris
With over 10 years of experience, I have been a professional violist at the Juilliard Pre-College Division since 2017. I am also an incoming freshman at Harvard College. Some of my most notable accomplishments include being named a YoungArts Finalist (the only violist selected in the nation), serving as the Principal Violist of the All-National Symphonic Orchestra Ensemble, and being invited as a soloist to perform on From the Top's NPR Show 430 with an audience of over 500,000 listeners. Having learned from several different teachers with varying teaching styles over the decade, I am confident that I can infuse their ideas into a flexible and engaging learning environment for my future students.
