About Lana
I have 5 years of experience teaching violin, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance. My journey with the violin began with a deep interest in music, which grew stronger through continuous practice and learning. Over time, I developed both technical skills and musical understanding, which I now share with my students through clear and supportive teaching.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I understand that learning the violin can feel challenging at first, so I focus on creating a calm and supportive learning environment. I adjust my teaching approach based on each student’s pace, helping them build confidence step by step.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different musical pieces to improve my own performance. This helps me bring new ideas and techniques into my lessons. Teaching violin is very meaningful to me because I get to support students as they grow in skill and confidence. Helping them enjoy music and express themselves gives me a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose.

My violin lessons are designed to help students learn in a structured and comfortable way while building strong playing skills step by step. I begin with important fundamentals such as posture, bow handling, finger placement, and tone production. Each concept is explained in simple English so students can understand clearly and practice with confidence. I also include exercises and simple pieces that help learners connect technique with musical expression.
I tailor each lesson based on the student’s level so that progress feels smooth and manageable. Beginners focus on producing clear sound, basic scales, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners work on improving intonation, bow control, and coordination between both hands. Advanced students focus on expression, dynamics, and refining performance techniques. I provide regular guidance and supportive feedback to help students improve steadily.
As students continue learning, they develop a stronger connection with the violin and gain confidence in their playing. They begin to produce more controlled sound, understand musical phrasing, and express emotions through their performance. Over time, they build discipline, focus, and musical awareness, which supports their growth as violinists. My goal is to help learners enjoy the violin while becoming confident players who can perform with clarity and expression in different settings.
