About Lucie
I started yoga between a Latin class and a literature class when I was a student, about ten years ago. My yoga practice has accompanied me since, abroad and in France. I decided to go to India to follow a 200-hour training in vinyasa and hatha, first for my personal practice. Then, I taught in Sri Lanka before coming back to France. Yoga has its origins in India over 5,000 years ago. The word comes from Sanskrit and means union. The benefits are numerous, both physically, mentally and spiritually. Beyond a harmonization between movements and breathing, yoga is also a work of alignment of the body, and a means of bringing calm and clarity in his mind.

Classes open to beginners and others, to those who say they are flexible as to those who think they are stiff, to young, old, athletic and those who are less. Whether you want to do yoga to gain flexibility, balance, relax, concentrate, tone up, just move, I listen to your desires. I give rather fluid lessons in hatha (slower) and vinyasa (more dynamic), preferably in music. The class always begins with a short moment of meditation and a pranayama (breathing exercise) to bring calm to the mind and refocus. This is followed by exercises to warm up the muscles and prepare the body to enter into a more dynamic flow and yoga postures. We work on the alignment of the body and the harmonization of breathing and movements. Little by little, the flow slows down, with postures on the ground until the final savasana (position lying on your back and still, relaxation of the body and calming of the mind).
