Over the last 18 years, I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade social studies. I coached football for 16 years, taught a leadership class, worked as an advisor for the student council, and co-led the DC/NY 8th grade trip. I specialize in helping young people find the motivation to do their best.

As a teacher, I focused on teaching middle school students the value of making their best effort before high school. Social studies is a great subject to improve reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Understanding social studies starts with reading comprehension, using the who, what, when, where, and why to make it easier.
