About Elliot
With 16 years of experience teaching piano, I have had the pleasure of guiding students from schools, colleges, and professional careers. My teaching philosophy is centered on understanding the unique learning style of each student, offering encouragement, and inspiring creativity. I believe learning piano should be a joyful and rewarding experience, where technical skills and personal expression grow together. I have successfully helped students perform in recitals, competitions, and public events.
I focus on building strong fundamentals, while also encouraging improvisation and creative exploration. My lessons combine theory, technique, and musicality, ensuring students not only play well but also understand and enjoy the music they perform. I take pride in creating a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident to learn, experiment, and grow. My ultimate goal is to help students achieve their musical dreams while fostering a lifelong passion for piano.

My approach to teaching Piano focuses on compassion, effective communication, and constant support. I understand that learning an instrument can be challenging, so I guide students with patience and positivity. My goal is to make piano lessons enjoyable and stress-free.
Lessons are planned according to each student’s ability and learning speed. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, finger control, coordination, and rhythm. Concepts are explained clearly in simple language, and I repeat important points to ensure understanding.
I support students by correcting mistakes kindly and motivating them during difficult lessons. I encourage regular practice and help students develop good habits. Open communication allows students to ask questions and share their learning challenges.
In addition to Piano, I teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Tempo Control, Ear Training, and Basic Keyboard Skills. I also introduce simple musical exercises to improve creativity. With compassion and clear guidance, I help students grow into confident and independent musicians.
