About David
I am a Native Spanish speaker, teacher, and tutor of both Spanish and English as foreign languages. I have been teaching for over 20 years now. I have experience teaching online via Skype, Zoom, VooV, and WhatsApp to students at all levels (beginner to advanced), from children to adults of all ages. I have a bachelor's degree in English Teaching and I am TEFL/TESOL certified. Currently doing a doctoral degree in Education.

My teaching method is based on making English and Spanish learning process fun, realistic and interesting. In doing so, flashcards, videos, and any other audio-visual material are worth using. I am very demanding as a teacher, so I encourage my students to immerse themselves in the language being taught.

Perfect! David has truly helped my Spanish excel in the last year I've been working with him. He first helped set the fundamental layer of pronunciation which has helped me excel much quicker being able to read and speak. He is also very flexible with schedule which I appreciate and it helps a lot when life happens. After every class I can walk away knowing I learned something new, which is very helpful, learning a language is a little by little process and David makes sure I'm making those little by little steps.

Perfect! David is an absolutely amazing Spanish teacher. I’ve never taken a formal Spanish class before and went in cold. From Day 1, David jumped right into conversation with me and made me think on my feet. From speaking with him in both Spanish and English, it was obvious that David is incredibly experienced; he knows where English speakers struggle the most and helps me avoid those mistakes. He also has a special technique for teaching pronunciation that has helped me improve my conversational Spanish dramatically. David is very encouraging, patient, and receptive to questions. He is a great teacher and the perfect person to practice conversation with!
