About Siobhan
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor with previous experience tutoring students of different ages and abilities. I really enjoy helping students build their confidence and seeing their skills improve over time. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I always try to adapt my approach to suit each individual student.
I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through things at their own pace.
Through my own studies and tutoring experience, I have also built up plenty of useful resources, tips and little hacks that I can share to make studies feel much more manageable.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s individual needs, whether that means building confidence with reading and comprehension, improving essay writing, or preparing for VCE Literature assessments and exams.
For VCE Literature students, I can help with essay structure, close analysis of poetry and plays, creative writing, developing interpretations and exam preparation. Having achieved a raw study score of 48 in VCE Literature, I can also share the approaches and techniques that worked well for me.
For younger students, I focus on making English and reading enjoyable and encouraging. I have experience helping children with their Readings and am very patient, particularly with students who may need some extra time, explanation or encouragement.
I am patient, encouraging and experienced in helping students build confidence. Having struggled with English myself in the past, I learnt lots of tips and tricks that helped me turn my results around, which I now hope to share with other students.
