About Alyssa
I'm currently undertaking a double degree in Laws and Computer Science at Swinburne University. I have been tutoring VCE English for the past year, but I have also tutored English for other secondary year levels (Year 7- Year 10). Most of my students have been from select entry schools, but were still able to vastly improve their grades in English under my guidance. (e.g. one of my students went from a B-C average to A-A+ averages over VCE)

My teaching methodology is highly dependent on the student. I prefer to rely on a mixture of both lecture-style informative teaching as well as hands-on work, such as workshopping drafts and paragraphs in preparation for an assessment. I'm happy to use my own lesson structure, but I will usually depend on my student to tell me what they want to work on for the day.
