About Iravati
With more than 5 years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I support students preparing for IB and A-Level mathematics exams. My teaching begins with building strong conceptual understanding. This foundation makes advanced topics easier to approach. I integrate multiple problem-solving strategies to develop flexible thinking. Students learn how to choose the best approach for different types of questions. My teaching approach is warm, patient, and centered on clear understanding. I begin each lesson by identifying what a student already knows. Then I help them build upon that foundation. I teach a wide range of topics, including Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Abstract Algebra, Number Theory, and Proof Writing. I guide students through complex concepts using simple explanations. I show multiple methods for solving problems to encourage flexible thinking. Reflection is an important part of my lessons. It helps ideas settle in the student’s mind. For DIY learners and researchers, I offer support that strengthens their independent exploration. I help them analyze the structure of theorems and proofs. My lessons focus on logical thinking and calm reasoning. I encourage curiosity and creativity. With this approach, students develop a new way of understanding mathematics and feel confident moving forward.
