About Evan
I'm a musician with some college experience, pursuing a degree in music education and arts administration from UNCG. I have taught several private lessons and was fortunate enough to teach a violin class at the boys and girls club in Greensboro.

My teaching Method will be very activity based. We will be doing lots of worksheets, examine some pieces of music, read from text and write music to demonstrate compentency of an idea. We will also play music we write on occasion on the student's primary instrument. I believe this is important to solidify understanding of the material and it allows a different form of engagement for the student.
