About Ishman
I am a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics student at the University of New South Wales with a strong interest in mathematics and analytical problem solving. I scored 98/100 in Grade 12 Mathematics, which reflects my strong understanding of core mathematical concepts.
I enjoy helping students understand math in a simple and structured way. My goal is to make mathematics less intimidating and help students build confidence in solving problems independently.
I tutor students in Years 7–9 mathematics, focusing on strengthening fundamentals, improving logical thinking, and supporting students with their school coursework. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving step by step.

My lessons focus on building strong foundations and confidence in mathematics for students in Years 7–9. I explain concepts step-by-step in a clear and simple way before moving to guided practice so students truly understand the logic behind each problem.
Lessons typically begin with a short review, followed by learning or revising topics such as algebra, fractions, equations, geometry, and graphs. I also help students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation when needed.
Classes are conducted online, using a digital whiteboard so students can see every step of the solution clearly. I keep lessons interactive and encourage students to ask questions so they can improve their problem-solving skills and confidence in maths.
