About Xiangrui
I am a graduated VCE student in 2025 and further study in Monash University (Bachelor of computer science). I achieved high scores in VCE Chinese second language advanced (study score 38) and mathematical methods (study score 37). I possess bilingual teaching capabilities and can tutor my students in both Chinese and English for their selection. I am committed to providing the most suitable teaching methods for students from different backgrounds.

As a VCE tutor, I am dedicated to providing students with a personalized and effective learning experience. My lessons typically run for 1.5-2 hours, and I offer flexible learning formats, including 1-on-1, 1-on-2, and small group sessions. I understand the importance of making learning enjoyable, so I always maintain patience and enthusiasm, aiming to spark students' interest and create a relaxed and positive learning environment. In VCE Math Methods, I excel at breaking down complex concepts step-by-step, helping students build a clear framework of knowledge and achieve a comprehensive understanding. I can transform abstract mathematical ideas into easily digestible forms and guide students to master key concepts through analogies and reasoning. For VCE Chinese Second Language/Advanced, I possess a unique advantage. Having immigrated to Australia in Year 7, I have combined my learning experiences in both China and Australia, providing me with a solid foundation in literature and a proven track record in calligraphy and poetry. Furthermore, I possess a deep understanding of the differences between the Chinese language itself and the VCE Chinese curriculum design, which enables me to help students improve their Chinese proficiency, develop their exam skills, and comprehend the VCE exam format. Throughout the teaching process, I adhere to a student-centered approach, focusing on stimulating students' interest and initiative, adopting accessible teaching methods, and fostering a relaxed and enjoyable learning atmosphere, allowing students to learn deeply and reinforce their understanding and memory of the material. My lessons are suitable for VCE Year 11-12 students, as well as Year 7-10 students.
