About Farzanah
Hello, I’m Farzanah Darwish, a dedicated educator with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for enhancing educational opportunities for all. I hold a Master’s degree in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Osmania University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Kabul Education University. My extensive academic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of mathematical theories and methodologies.
With years of experience as an Education Consultant and Teacher, I have developed and implemented comprehensive educational frameworks and multimedia materials, particularly aimed at enhancing girls' education. At Lapis Group, I managed the production of over 1000 Khan Academy math videos in Dari, incorporating Social-Emotional (SE) elements and ensuring the highest standards of educational content. My role at UNESCO further honed my skills in strategic communication and advocacy, allowing me to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to enhance educational services.
