# **Welcome! Let's Unlock Your Creative Potential**
As a dedicated visual designer and active digital content creator, my mission is to transform the complex world of visual storytelling into an accessible, rewarding journey for every student. For years, I have managed the digital media presence for my local congregation of **The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints**, leading the design strategy, creative direction, and production for our official Instagram and social media platforms. Managing high-stakes, community-facing communications has instilled in me a deep sense of professionalism, strict attention to detail, and a commitment to clean, impactful design.
My technical expertise bridges traditional design principles and modern digital tools. I specialize in building highly engaging, professional assets using **Canva**, crafting dynamic whiteboard animations with **Doodly**, and utilizing industry-standard creative tools like **Adobe**. Having earned my Associate Degree in Art and Graphic Design, I don't just understand the software—I understand the timeless rules of composition, color, and visual engagement that make content truly stand out.
When you or your child step into my classroom, you are partnering with an educator who values structured learning, patience, and clear communication. Whether we are unlocking early creative talents through gamified play or mastering modern content creation software, my lessons are meticulously organized, highly encouraging, and entirely tailored to individual learning styles. I am fully committed to providing a safe, organized, and inspiring environment where students can confidently build technical skills and realize their full creative potential.

I believe that artistic talent isn't just something you're born with—it is a skill built through curiosity, structured practice, and creative play. Combining my formal background with an Associate of Arts in Art and Graphic Design and my love for modern content creation, I bridge the gap between traditional art foundations and digital visual storytelling. I don't just lecture; I actively collaborate with my students to unlock their unique creative voices.
A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)
00–10 mins: Creative Warm-Up & Spark – A fast, low-pressure sketching or visual matching game to get the creative juices flowing and shake off any frustration.
10–25 mins: Core Technique Breakdown – A deep dive into the day’s concept (e.g., how to use basic shapes to build complex characters, or manipulating depth of field and perspective).
25–50 mins: Guided Creation – The student works on a hands-on project while I provide real-time, encouraging feedback, troubleshooting technical hurdles as they arise.
50–60 mins: Show & Tell Wrap-Up – A celebration of what was created, setting a mini "creative mission" for the week ahead.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What truly sets me apart is my ability to translate complex visual concepts into simple, imaginative steps that click for young minds. Because I understand both traditional studio design and modern digital/AI visual tools, I can meet students exactly where they are. I blend the structured precision of graphic design with the absolute freedom of creative play, ensuring that every session feels less like a strict classroom and more like an exciting creative laboratory.
