About Marissa
Hello, I'm Marissa, a compassionate and driven individual deeply invested in psychology and mental health. Graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah in May 2024 was a significant milestone for me—one that solidified my commitment to understanding and supporting those navigating the complexities of the mind.
Working full-time in the mental health field has allowed me to translate my academic knowledge into real-world impact. Witnessing the positive changes in individuals' lives fuels my passion for helping others and reinforces my belief in the power of empathy and support.
I'm thrilled to share that I've been accepted into the Master of Social Work program at the University of Utah, a step that will further equip me with the skills and insights needed to make a tangible difference in the mental health community. This opportunity excites me as I look forward to expanding my expertise and contributing more meaningfully to the well-being of those in need.
When I'm not immersed in work or studies, you can often find me cherishing moments with my family. Their unwavering love and encouragement provide me with the strength and motivation to pursue my goals and aspirations, reminding me of the importance of balance and connection in all aspects of life.
As I continue to grow both personally and professionally, I am eager to embrace the opportunities ahead and continue my journey of learning, serving, and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
