About Cyro
Hello! My name is Cyro, and I recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a background in Mathematics and Statistics. I have always enjoyed helping others understand math in a calm, supportive, and encouraging way.
I understand that math can feel stressful or confusing for many students, especially when concepts are introduced too quickly in school. My goal is to help students feel more comfortable asking questions, strengthen their understanding step by step, and build confidence in their abilities.
I am patient, approachable, and detail-oriented, and I believe every student can improve with the right support and learning style. I am especially comfortable working with elementary school, middle school, and early high school students who need homework help, concept review, or additional practice.
Lessons can be taught in English or Mandarin depending on the student’s preference.

My teaching approach focuses on patience, clear explanations, and helping students build confidence in math step by step. I understand that every student learns differently, so I try to adjust my teaching style based on each student’s pace and needs.
A typical lesson usually includes reviewing homework or difficult concepts first, followed by guided practice and problem-solving together. I like to explain not only how to solve a problem, but also why the method works, so students can develop a stronger understanding instead of only memorizing formulas.
As a University of Toronto Math & Statistics graduate, I have experience with a wide range of math topics and understand the challenges students may face when learning math. I aim to create a supportive and low-pressure learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons are best suited for elementary school, middle school, and high school students who want extra support, homework help, stronger fundamentals, or improved confidence in mathematics.
