About Ziyanda
I am a student at the University of the Witwatersrand, studying a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance. I hope to pursue my passion for writing and become a novelist, playwright, and poet. I have two full novels under my belt and aim to be published in September of 2023.
I love reading, music, and film especially when my younger siblings are with me. I enjoy spending time with children and love helping them learn about the things I am passionate about.
I also have a neurological disorder and so I understand what it might be like for those with disabilities and the struggle that comes with it.

As a writer myself, I will guide you and help you learn about what makes a truly impactful story, essay, or poem. I not only help with academic writing—being essay writing and exam answering—but also aid in reading and understanding academic material such as class novels or other sources.
I have been in environments alongside children with learning disabilities and have the patience to not only teach them but help them discover what study methods are most effective in their learning.
I am a novelist and have completed two novels and a few more short stories. I believe that with my help, you could strengthen your creative writing skills and make a career out of it.
For younger students, I teach handwriting, grammar, and spelling. I also love getting the youth engaged in reading for literature outside of the classroom is so important in one’s intellectual and lingual growth.
