About Mahrukh
I have taught GCSE Biology as a mentor at secondary school, helping my student achieve an A at GCSE. My teaching experience as a mentor extends to other GCSE subjects too, including English and Latin, so I have experience in applying a range of different teaching methods.

I am a very friendly and approachable individual who is passionate and serious about pushing my students to reach their maximum potential. My teaching method is based mainly on explaining key concepts through the use of diagrams and mind maps to help students retain information to long-term memory, as well as make lessons more engaging. I will also dedicate considerable lesson time to practising exam-style questions, particularly tricky calculations and practical questions. Student will also learn about different revision techniques so they can find one most suited to them, and general tips on how to revise most efficiently. My lessons will be interactive and interesting, and an open-space for students to ask questions and raise concerns as much as needed.
