About Tanisha
I am a Sport and Exercise Science student at the University of Nottingham. I am offering primary school students tutoring for the 11+ entrance exam with the hope of attending a grammar school for secondary level eduction.
I am also offering year 7 to 9 maths teaching as well as GCSE Maths (year 10-11).
I attended a grammar school myself, obtaining GCSE's in 11 subjects (11 A*-B), and A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I consider my academic ability to be relatively high.
I am primarily focussing on 11+ teaching for primary school students. this includes: Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal reasoning and comprehension.
For year 7-11 maths, I will teach the current curriculum. The easiest way for me to do this is to understand the current level of the student and to see the work they have already completed as well as homework they are being set.

My teaching method will be based online, allowing for one to one teaching.
I am able to simplify and explain methods easily allowing the student to follow each step of the way.
I consider myself to be approachable and friendly allowing students to get on with me well.
I will assess the students ability, looking at classwork and homework being set.
I am able to help with questions, homework and exam preparation. I am able to provide questions and go through these with the student.
I am happy to negotiate hours and bulk hours.
