About Abigail
I am currently studying Music education at university. I have taught music lessons during term time for a couple of years. I have taught over 4 students. My students have not achieved grades as such but have built up their confidence with their chosen instruments. I have found that with my lessons, students find music fun and enjoyable.

I approach each topic by carefully assessing the students knowledge prior to teaching, and then build upon their levels. I give lessons to students from 7 years old to the age of 15 (and beyond if need be) I have varied techniques such as using songs which the students are familiar with, in order to not scare them and ease them into music in a way which they aren't overcrowded or pushed. In my lessons, if there is a problem, I encourage the student (if they want to or need to) to the group (or me in private) as I do not like to see any of my students struggling or finding anything difficult.
