About River
My name is River. I am 19 years old and graduated top of my class all around in high school. I help students learn about the world around them in an engaging online class where they will take personalized quizzes tailored to their skills in class, while they take notes on the lectures and study real-world documents. I have been teaching online for almost 2 years and I specialize in helping out students that have a hard time paying attention to work or find it boring so I try to spice up my lessons with interactive activities and exactly where notes can be found in the text. I try to keep contact with families as well.

My lesson plan is easy to understand teaching, note-taking, and quizzes. For higher grade levels I use a higher rubric and 1-page essay on each thing we learn along with note-taking and tests. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I use easy to understand work and I can adjust to different grade levels using real documents for real-world problems and I use communication with my students. The lessons will be for grades Kindergarten through 12th grade for college prep, as a charter school would teach with extra enrichment for your scholar.
