About Katja
I am a psychology student at Maastricht University and I now have 3 years of experience in tutoring. I have tutored students of many levels and many ages: from high school students preparing for their IB exams to primary school students who struggle with reading.
I notice a great increase in confidence when it comes to using the English language in many of my students. They dare to make mistakes, increase their skills and learn to trust their own capabilities.

I like to give my students a lot of freedom during my lessons and I encourage them to discover and try out as much as possible themselves. I also ensure that students learn how to plan everything properly so that they can continue with structured learning later. I can help with all aspects of the language, including literature, academic writing and pronounciation.
I can teach primary school students, secondary school students and CAE / IB students.
Both as a person and as a tutor I am flexible, calm and creative.

- I charge extra for helping students with writing essays, reports and speeches (since reading and checking their work does not happen during the lessons and takes up extra time)
