About Daniel
I am an experienced English and Japanese language teacher having taught for over 15 years in Japan in the private, public, and university sector, as well as running my own English school. I currently teach young children online while I complete my doctorate in the School of Languages and Cultures at the University of Queensland where I've done a study on the impact a Flipped Classroom has on the learning experiences of young Japanese elementary school students. I love teaching and ensuring learners have a good foundation to carrying them well in their lives be they young learners or professionals.

I base my teaching methodology on individualized / personalized learning that gives increasing ownership of learning to the learner. I like to use technology in a flipped or blended fashion that increases effectiveness of learning, memorization, recall, and overall enjoyment of the entire learning process. I would offer a week trial to properly assess the level and commitment of the learner in order for me to better gauge their needs and what can be done in an efficient, effective, and fun way.
