About Jakob
Hi! I’m a Psychology undergraduate with a passion for History and Psychology. I love helping students build confidence, improve their grades, and enjoy learning. My tutoring style is personalised and engaging, focusing on each student’s strengths and challenges. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, exploring historical topics, and staying up-to-date with psychology research, which I bring into my lessons to make them interesting and relevant.

I offer online tutoring in History and Psychology for GCSE and A-Level students. My lessons are designed to be tailored, engaging and practical, focusing on your individual learning style and specific challenges. I use a mix of explanations, discussions and practice exercises to help students understand concepts deeply. My aim is to provide confidence and improve grades, while making learning enjoyable. I also provide exam-focused guidance, including essay writing, exam technique, and practice questions. Lessons usually last 1 hour, but can be adjusted based on your needs. I am a Psychology Undergraduate student with strong academic knowledge in both Psychology and History. I have experience helping students develop their understanding in both subjects following tutoring while still at school and for the previous years I have been at university. The lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students, anyone looking for extra support, exam prep, or helping building confidence. The first lesson is free - giving us a chance to discuss your goals and difficulties so I can create a personalised plan for future lessons.
