About Lara
With a Biochemistry degree from the University of Bath, I’ve learnt and understood my fair share of content! I’ve been through GCSEs, A Levels and 4 years of undergraduate study, so I truly understand how hard it can be, and am here to teach you my tips and tricks to ace your subjects.
I’m super passionate about both Biology and Chemistry - especially the crossover between them! Also experienced with UCAS applications, with former tutees now attending Oxbridge, Imperial, Warwick, Edinburgh etc.

I am a firm believer in using active recall - not only in revision but also in teaching. My lessons never take the shape of simply talking at my student, it will always be a 2-way conversation, and I’m keen to push my students to achieve the most of their potential, whatever that may be! I like to use example questions along the way to reinforce learning, and always create an action plan for new students.
