About GRACE
I am a hard-working, attentive and patient tutor with five years of teaching and tutoring experience. I currently teach undergraduate Tort and Contract Law at a number of Oxford University colleges. I finished my BA in Jurisprudence with Senior Status in 2019, winning the Gibbs Prize for best aggregate performance in Tort, Contract, Trusts and Land Law; the prize for best performance in Contract, Tort and Criminal and the prize for the best performance on the Senior Status course (a condensed two-year Law degree).
Prior to this, I did a degree in History and Modern Languages at St. John's College, University of Oxford. I graduated in 2014 with a high 2.1 (67% average). I took preliminary examinations in Theology, where I achieved a top first (an average of 76% across three papers) and then moved into the second year of a History and Portuguese degree, despite having had no formal foreign language qualification.
I did History, English Literature and Religious Studies at A Level, achieving an A* in each paper, and 100% in my History and Religious Studies A2 papers.
I am particularly keen at sharing the skills and knowledge I have learnt during my time at Oxford with current undergraduates (particularly Law undergraduates) as well as prospective applicants. I regularly return to my old school to give coaching to Oxbridge applicants.
In between my degrees I have had a successful career in banking and finance.
I will commence pupillage at a magic circle set in September 2021. I have been selected as one of only 50 people to commence the Bar course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy this September.
