About Zoe
My passion for teaching began before my undergraduate when I tutored my sister 1:1 for her A level English. I since have worked both independently and with top-performing tutoring agencies such as Crimson Education, to lead many students to A level success and also to Oxbridge.
After having studied English at the University of Oxford, I split my time between working in film production for MUBI and tutoring.

- Poetry, with a specialism in Old English, Medieval (including Chaucer), Romantic, feminist, 20th century and 21st century poetry
- Theatre, with a specialism in medieval and reformation plays, the plays of Shakespeare (Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, Anthony and Cleopatra, Titus Andronicus, The Tempest are but few) and the plays of Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Samuel Beckett, Jez Butterworth, Harold Pinter.
- Prose, with a specialism on the set texts - Tess of the D'Ubervilles, Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby, Frankenstein, The Picture of Dorian Gray - though many others on standard GCSE and A level curricula I have experience in teaching.
