About Hannah
As an Oxford Classics graduate with a passion for teaching Latin, I have worked with over 30 students aged 8 to 20, from complete beginners to those studying at advanced university level. I believe every learner is unique, and I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. To support this, I bring my own carefully created resources to every lesson—personalised worksheets, revision documents, and practice exercises—ensuring each session is engaging, relevant, and tailored to the student’s needs. I aim to make Latin both accessible and enjoyable, building confidence step by step and showing students that no question is ever too small to ask. My approach is patient, encouraging, and adaptable, so students feel comfortable exploring the language while making real progress. I am committed to helping learners not only achieve their academic goals, but also discover the satisfaction that comes from mastering a challenging and rewarding subject.

I am an Oxford Classics graduate specialising in teaching Latin, with experience tutoring over 30 students from complete beginners to advanced university level. I have taught learners aged 8 to 20, adapting my methods to suit the needs and goals of each individual. My approach is patient, understanding, and highly engaging. I make sure every student feels comfortable asking questions—no matter how ‘obvious’ they may seem. I believe every student is unique, so I tailor each lesson to suit their learning style, age, and level of experience.
