About Christine
Having studied at an academically competitive secondary school (St Paul's Girls' School) and achieved a set of straight A*s at both GCSE and A level, I know what is needed to succeed and have picked lots of tips to improve learning and results . I have had success with 13+ common entrance exams and have also helped my students move up class sets. Overall I am a fairly relaxed tutor but still ensure we cover lots of material in class time!

I am currently studying maths at Imperial College London, and have over two years experience in tutoring. Every student is different, so initially I will always have a discussion with the student to find out what topics they would like to cover, and what their leaning style is like. The first half of a session is usually spent explaining a topic, then I like to do questions with the student to further cement understanding. I'm very patient, as I know everybody learns at different speeds, and am also light-hearted; from experience I know that tutees tend to perform better when they are having fun in a lesson!

I've been friends with Christine for a number of years now. She is fiercely intelligent and studious, as well as being very humble and caring. Any time I've asked her for help with work she has been patient and thorough, really helping me understand the content. I would thoroughly recommend Christine as a tutor - If you hire her you won't regret it!
