About Jojo
I recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class MPhys degree in Physics. Studying Physics at one of the UK's leading universities has given me a strong understanding of both fundamental and advanced topics, as well as the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in the subject.
Having completed the journey from pre-university Physics to master's-level study, I understand the challenges students often face when transitioning to A-Level Physics. I am committed to creating a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
I believe that success in Physics comes from understanding concepts deeply, practicing consistently, and learning how to apply knowledge effectively in examinations. My aim is to help students develop these skills while making Physics an engaging and rewarding subject to learn.

My lessons focus on developing a strong understanding of Physics concepts before moving on to calculations and exam-style questions. Rather than encouraging students to memorise formulas, I explain the physical principles behind them so they can confidently solve unfamiliar problems.
Every lesson is tailored to the student's current level, learning pace, and goals. A typical lesson lasts between one and two hours and includes a review of previous material, clear explanations of new concepts, guided worked examples, and plenty of practice with topical or past paper questions. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to ask questions freely and develop confidence in their problem-solving skills.
My lessons are designed for Cambridge A-Level Physics students, whether they need support with difficult topics, want to improve their understanding, or are aiming for higher grades in their examinations.
