About Tristan
am a recent university graduate who spent my years studying abroad in Montreal, Canada, where I continued to learn and speak French. I have always been in a bilingual environment, having grown up in London in a Franco-British family and later moving to bilingual cities. I am passionate about teaching and had the rewarding experience of working as a teaching assistant for two consecutive summers at an international school. This role gave me the confidence to pursue tutoring and teaching outside of work.
I am currently working part-time at an art gallery in London, and I am looking for enthusiastic learners who are eager to pick up a new language to work with on the side. I have plenty of prep materials and exercise sheets from previous jobs, which will make the learning process easier for you.

I believe the key to learning a new language is consistent practice, especially in speaking. During tutoring sessions, you will not only have the opportunity to practice your speaking skills but also build confidence in reading and writing. Lessons will cover the basics, providing a foundation for you to build on during your free time. When you return, you will have progressed and be ready to continue advancing.
I'm flexible with time—if we go over the allocated session and you want to show me something new you've learned, I'm all ears. My lessons are primarily for beginners and intermediate-level learners. With experience tutoring ages 5-18, I am well-versed in teaching foundational skills and preparing students for basic standardised testing.
