I believe in the "learn as you go" method. Our main goal here is determining how to market yourself as a writer in a difficult industry to break into. We will:
Look at published pieces including books, movies, and game dialogue, determining what makes them accessible and memorable.
Talk about popular topics right now and why it's important to connect real world issues to your writing, even subtly.
Practice proper grammar, something that sets you apart from many others and makes the right first impression.
Apply what you've learned to your own brainstormed ideas, ultimately selecting one to create your own finished piece you can sell.
