About Trevor
I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida with a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in English. With a 3.98 GPA and a summer cum laude honors distinction, I bring a high level of sophistication and clarity to my own writing.
As a tutor, I have worked with students on the following essay types: college admissions, undergraduate thesis, text analysis, argumentative, and expository.
After working with me, students have gained admissions into graduate school, graduated with highest honors from their college, and

In the past, I have tutored fellow college students who have a specific essay they are working on. My students come to me with essays at every stage of completion; whether working with brainstorms, outlines, or full drafts, my educational process remains the same.
I operate in a flipped classroom structure, which means students actually write their papers on their own time. During tutoring sessions, I work with students to understand the principles of strong essay-writing, identify strengths and weaknesses of their work, and to create action plans for the next phase of the writing process.
Though I work with students on specific assignments, my teaching goals extend beyond the paper itself. In helping students to maximize the content of their paper in the present, I help them refine the quality of their writing for the future.
