About Samaira
My name is Samaira, and I am an 18-year-old from Singapore, currently studying at the University of Bath in the UK. I recently completed the IB Diploma, where I studied Economics at Higher Level, and I have prior tutoring experience with a strong passion for helping students understand Economics clearly and confidently. Throughout school, I was known for helping classmates grasp difficult concepts, and supporting others in their learning has always been something I truly enjoy. I have helped students achieve top grades, including a 7 in IB Economics, by focusing on clear explanations, exam technique, and building confidence. I am hardworking, kind, and patient, and I always go the extra mile to support my students. I teach online and aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students can improve steadily and reach their full potential in Economics.

My lessons are designed for students studying IB, A Level, or GCSE Economics who want to improve understanding, exam performance, and confidence. I focus on breaking down complex economic concepts into clear, simple explanations, combined with exam-style practice and strong essay-writing techniques. Each lesson lasts one hour and is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that is mastering theory, improving diagram use, preparing for exams, or receiving guidance on Internal Assessments. As an IB Economics HL graduate currently studying at the University of Bath, I understand exam boards, mark schemes, and the strategies needed to achieve top grades. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and results-driven, helping students build knowledge, analytical skills, and exam confidence.
