About Ruby
Hi! My name is Ruby, and I have a strong passion for learning and teaching, primarily the sciences such as Physics and Chemistry. After Co-Duxing Physics in 2023, I decided to use my communication skills to help other children struggling with grasping science and mathematics. When I was 12, I was diagnosed with ADHD, so I specialize in helping children with learning disabilities through more interactive and adaptable lessons. Learning is meant to be fun, and I strive to make my teaching unique and memorable for all my students!

I tutor classes online through Zoom sessions, targeted at HSC or primary school students who need extra assistance with sciences and mathematics. Lessons are suited to the student, ranging from 30-minute to 1-hour sessions. However, any alterations can be easily made. Volunteering and tutoring young children through the Smith Family Charity was an eye-opening experience that helped me learn about my love for teaching and helping the wider community!

Ruby and I were lab partners in the UniSQ Head Start Program and she has always been amazing at explaining difficult concepts in easy to grasp ways. During any experiments, she could balance being easy-going with professionalism, which is such an important quality for a good teacher to have.
