About Anna-Marie
I am a final year Doctor of Veterinary medicine (DVM) student at the University of Melbourne. I have completed a Bachelor of Science (Animal Disease Biotechnology) with an 80+ WAM. I have tutored at a college in Canberra, and been a private tutor for several years. Having completed both ATAR and IB, I have experience in both systems and understand the requirements of each. I am also happy to help guide students in undergrad/early DVM. I pride myself on having my students achieve their personal best, whether that be through passing a topic they were convinced they couldn't, or topping their class frequently.

My philosophy is that if a tutor can achieve nothing else, they should at least incite passion or interest in the topic that they teach, rather than simply regurgitate information. Hence, while I focus on the main topic, breaking it down into approachable, manageable sections, I prefer to add points of interest and relevance to the topic - Not only 'what is this', but 'why is this' and 'how can we apply this further'. I also utilise a variety of methods depending on the student's preferred learning type, and I constantly adapt to the student's needs.
