My teaching methodology is versatile and depends on the needs, desires and commitment level of my students. I task myself on teaching students the necessary skills to build long-term success. Before beginning to work together, I offer a voice or video call to discuss students needs and craft a study plan in anticipation for our first and concomitant lessons together.

Perfect! James is a terrific English tutor. He is helping my daughter with her GCSE's. James has very good knowledge of the different exam boards and his lessons are always well prepared and useful. He is thoughtful and tries to accommodate last minute lesson requests and schedule changes. He has made a huge difference in my daughter's confidence. He's a keeper!

Perfect! James is very professional, knowledgable and polite tutor. We had just few lessons so far but it is remarkable how he boosted my daughter’s confidence in English for such a short period of time. James is patient, encouraging and genuinely cares for my daughter’s learning needs. He is also a pleasure to deal with and goes above and beyond with whatever is needed. Perfect! James has worked with our two sons to improve their English. He started with our son in year 8 who was having a confidence crisis with the subject and James has been excellent in rebuilding it with him so that he has gone from always hating the subject to really liking it- and it’s all down to his sessions with James. Our other son is year 10 and has always liked English but they have recently had a few sessions to work on improving his essay work and it has been really helpful. James is so nice to have around the house and our boys really enjoy working with him.

Great tutor. Would recommend James to anyone
James has been very helpful with my English. For the last year he taught me I have definitely improved alot. He is very kind and patient and his teaching style is really easy to learn.
James has been a fantastic tutor over the last two years. Went from a B to scraping an A* at A Level !!!
Firstly, His teaching style seemed to very adaptive to the way I like to learn. Secondly, his tutoring helped me dramatically improve in French and English. Finally, he is a very kind and patient person.
