About Aimee
Hi there! My name is Aimee Morris. I'm a second year student studying Economics at the University of Bristol. I love animals, plants, and Led Zeppelin!
At GCSE's, I achieved 100% 7-9 (A-A**), including Maths, English and Science. At A levels, I obtained A* History, A* Psychology, A* Maths, A Further Maths and A* in an EPQ examining Hong Kong as a Financial Centre. I want to become a tutor because I believe I can provide invaluable advice on how to improve at an incredible pace in your studies. During GCSE's, I brought myself from a 6 to a 9 in Mathematics within 2 months by examining my weak spots in the subject. I did the same for Further Maths during A levels, going from a C to an A. From 2018-2019, I have tutored children from ages 7 to 16 mainly on Mathematics, but also English and Science, and have seen similar results in my students struggling to prepare for their exams.
My teaching style depends on the student. For younger children, more creative learning tools are necessary to engage them! From drawing butterflies to learn symmetry to singing 'let it go' to learn poetry, the last thing I want if for them to wish they were somewhere else. For older students, mainly the 14-16 range, I prefer a more straightforward style: I help them determine what they're struggling on, and we can prepare lessons for them to cover the topics.
Most importantly, I like to prepare my lessons. The first few sessions may involve a lot of questions, determining learning styles, and simply just getting to know each other. Of course, if a student has homework, we can work through it together, but I prefer to have a lesson plan and focus on specific topics they are struggling with each week.

Hi there! I teach Mathematics from ages 7-16 looking to do 60-90 minute online sessions. For younger students, I provide creative ways to engage them, and for older students, I help them rigorously identify and solve their weaknesses in Mathematics. I have an A* in Maths and A in Further Maths A level (as well as a 9 in Maths iGCSE).
