About Claire
My name is Claire, and I am studying Biochemistry at UCL! I did the IB at an international school in Chicago, USA, where I was born and raised, but I am ethnically Romanian. I speak both Romanian and English fluently, and have studied German at the IB higher level, along with Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I have also studied Psychology and English at a standard level. I love to meet new people, read, embroider and watch TV. I also love taking walks and playing with my cat. I am very an and have had plenty of experience mentoring and tutoring younger students since I was 14.

I can help students with specific questions they have about a subject. These can be either broad ones, or come from past exam papers! I offer a personalised method of teaching to identify subject areas that the student needs more support in, giving them a simplified explanation and examples of how to answer the relevant questions. I am very approachable and flexible, and it can be up to the student to decide what will be covered in the lesson, if they wish! I can also offer studying advice for the specific topic, providing questions and exercises for the student to complete.
