About Jamie
Hi there,
I'm Jamie, 21 years old. A huge enthusiast for learning History. I have 10 GCSEs, 3 A-C A-levels and an Undergraduate at the University of Winchester.
I have been told by friends and family that I can hold a conversation with just about anyone, always greeting others with a warm welcome and a friendly smile.
I love to chat with my 12 year old brother Alfie, who often engages with me in interesting chats. It's great to see him become an inquisitive young man. He has explained Communism to other students in his class, proudly stating what he has learned from his "big brother". Recently we have talked about the Second world war and the evolution of Homo-Sapiens.
I also do bar work on the side, where I have used my experience of efficient service with a smile from previous pub jobs.
At the University I am a member of the philosophy society, and the vice chair of the international society. I also sometimes participate in badminton and poker.

Are you a young adult looking to study and smash those A-levels/GCSEs or you just want to chat about big questions are a bit of a nerd for learning? If so then you will certainly feel comfortable in conversation with me about many humanitarian topics, however my Bachelors degree is in Modern History.
These lessons will cover the content I have picked up over the years independently, at School and now at University. My interests are specifically British Imperial, Nazi and Soviet history.
I can also point you towards interesting authors, TED talks on YouTube, and other websites to help keep you motivated so we can track your progress.
The sessions will run once a week (for an hour) after 5 PM on the week days.
