About Maia
I am currently an undergraduate who has just finished her first year studying Philosophy at University of Edinburgh. I love Philosophy but understand the frustration it can cause, especially at A Level. It is a very vague and seemingly unpredictable A Level, with complex and difficult concepts involved. I achieved an A* at A Level and want to help others achieve their potential.

I can teach Philosophy for GCSE, A Level, or for people just wanting to learn out of interest. These lessons are for any age. Lessons will be either 1 or 1.5 hours long. I use reinforcement learning to teach, getting students to recall, reproduce, and actively engage with information (instead of passive absorption). I will set essays and provide feedback. My teaching is ultimately tailored to the student, and aims to tackle areas that they are weakest at.
