About Lawrence
I returned to study my A levels at 23 after a change of heart about my career. When an associate of mine showed me his physics work from university I was able to follow it and realised that that was my calling. Since then I have come on leaps and bounds and am now in my second year studying theoretical physics. I would like to use this year to gain teaching experience primarily to help students in need of a hand with their understanding but also so I have the experience required for when I finish my studies and decide to go into teaching. Working 1 to 1 with students will help me understand how to assist students and make the most of my time teaching them, for both parties.

After discussing what you hope to achieve from our lessons, I will make an effort to focus on the topics you are less comfortable with and attempt to change that so a full understanding is achieved. Lessons will last from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your preferences and the topic. Homework will be set on the topic each week and assessed during the week, and reviewed at the start of the next lesson, covering any issues or by congratulating your progress.
I have previously helped friends/family with tutoring in these areas. My lessons will cover all range of maths and physics topics from GCSE to A level.
