About Pauline
I am a committed and determined first-year student at Sciences Po Paris, Reims campus, driven by a profound passion for learning and personal growth. My academic pursuits centre around the dynamic intersections of political science, sociology, and humanities, where I strive to make meaningful contributions.
Outside of my academic endeavours, I actively participate in initiatives promoting gender equality, cultural awareness, and human rights advocacy. These experiences have further enriched my understanding of social dynamics and underscored my commitment to fostering a more inclusive and compassionate society.
In addition to my academic and social pursuits, I am deeply passionate about music, proficient in playing the piano, guitar, and ukulele, and actively engage in composition. During my upcoming one-month stay in London from May 19th to June 19th, I am excited to share my teaching experience, having previously taught English to young learners. Now, I am eager to impart my native language, French.
In my approach to tutoring, I prioritize interactivity, emphasizing participation, creative writing, and role-playing to immerse students in the language effectively. I am constantly seeking to refine my techniques and create a stimulating learning environment for my students, while also learning from them.
With experience in teaching English to middle schoolers, I typically organize theme-based sessions centred around movies, books, or everyday life situations. My teaching philosophy encourages students to take risks and embrace mistakes as part of the learning process.
