About Nicholas
Hello! I'm Nicholas, a current undergraduate student of Neuroscience at the University of Leeds, a global top 80 university in the UK.
As an A-level student of Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics, I know what it's like to be overloaded with challenging concepts. During my high school years I taught classes of Chemistry and Biology students, and high school students in maths 1 on 1, for which I was awarded the Mentoring Gold Award at my school. My GCSE results, the equivalent of SATs in America, were in the top 700 or so students in the UK with 11 grade 9s (including 95% in Maths).
My rewarding teaching experiences have inspired me to continue tutoring students in a subject I adore and use daily in and out of the lab for my degree studies. Whatever you wish to learn in maths, I'm here to help from Elementary right up to University level.

I aim to offer teaching to students of all capabilities up to A-level. I have had much experience teaching classes of Chemistry and Biology students before, as well as doing some 1 on 1 maths mentoring to Y9-11 students at my school, for which I was awarded my school's Mentoring Gold Award.
You can never be expected to always understand everything the first time it is explained to you. Before our lessons I request my students to come up with their list of topics they have been struggling with during the week. Firstly, we will go through an explanation of the topics again, during which time you can ask me any questions that have been lingering in your mind. Secondly, the best approach to commit a skill to memory is practice, practice, practice! We will then go through some practice questions together either from their textbooks or my access to online resources or past paper questions if you are studying for your exam. We will be able to use an online interactive whiteboard so we can work side by side as if in the classroom together.

I recommend Nicholas without hesitation, having had the privilege of knowing him his entire life. Throughout his school years, he consistently excelled at the top of his class in Math and Science, a passion he naturally pursued into his university studies. Smart, engaging, and dedicated, Nicholas maintains high standards for himself—and will hold his future students to the same standard of excellence.
He is my older brother, and has helped me through both studying for my maths GCSE and A-Level. I found him very helpful, his knowledge of maths is very broad and his explanations were always clear and helpful. He is incredibly hard-working and patient. I would strongly recommend him to any student who needs help with maths at any level.
Nicholas has been one of my closest friends in high school, I will always remember the times we spent debating about physics and mathematics. I strongly recommend him, as his critical thinking and ability to take initiative have always impressed me.
