About Lucia
Hello my name is Lucia, my approach to teaching is shaped by my personal experience and the insights I've gained from my mother, a registered clinical psychologist. These insights help me connect with children and understand their unique needs. I believe that children learn best in a safe and supportive environment, which is why I focus on creating a space where your child feels comfortable and confident to grow. I create personalized SMART goals that make learning fun, engaging, and empowering. Each session is tailored to your child’s individual pace, ensuring that they stay motivated and productive as they progress. I’m dedicated to giving my full attention to each tutoring session, so your child always feels supported and confident as they move forward in their learning journey.

As an older sister to a primary school student with dyslexia, I’ve developed a patient and structured approach to teaching, focusing on creating a supportive learning environment. I’ve also learned valuable communication strategies from my mother, a registered clinical psychologist, which help me connect with and understand the needs of younger children.
When tutoring, I take the time to assess your child’s specific learning needs and create tailored SMART goals that focus on measurable progress. By using these goals, children are more likely to engage with the material, feeling empowered rather than frustrated or overwhelmed.
I offer tutoring sessions lasting 60 minutes, ensuring each session is productive, engaging, and supportive of your child’s learning needs.
